I have used Bryce3d quite a bit and still use it for for some of my other stuff. Thanks for the reference for Rhino 3d though. Do you use blender at all for animation yourself? However if you would like to create small items or products, try www.rhino3d.com its interface is a lot easier to get around. They have a trial version to see if it fits your need. Best of luck!
