Does anyone know a good metal artist?
I’ve been thinking about buying some welding equipment here lately and trying to do some larger welded metal art pieces. So right now I am looking at metal sculpture artists. Do you by chance know of any good Artists that fit the bill? Or tips on welding in art?
I don’t want to go buy $500 of equipment that I know nothing about and try to learn without seeing some good examples of what is possible, know what I mean?
Maybe it’s a passing phase for me. We’ll see.

Sophie Ryder is probably one of my all time favorite artists, I really like her earlier work pre 1995 – here is an example:
