Although I feel more creative and inspired when I paint to music...I have to wear earplugs so many places out in the world. I often feel overwhelmed by noise in restaurants, movie theaters, stores...you name it. That's the kind of noise that zaps my spirit and makes my creative brain unable to function! I figured I'd give them a free link with letting me use the image. I wish my earplugs looked like that. Weird idea for an art project based off of ear plugs... Get a whole bunch of them and glue them together in the shape of a huge ear. Entitle the piece something minimalistic like "e" just because the letter "e" looks like an ear. That was a jumbled up comment well, those aren’t mine… :p

I love the silence too, and when I'm painting or drawing I always put in earplugs so I don't get distracted. A whole day of that might be really nice - I'll have to try it.
