Our spam filter may have caught you.... Our email system is basically only a spam catching gateway that forwards mail to our inboxes. I really don't know where things might have gotten mixed along the way.

I think I am going to do it as a comment entry thing next time, then nobody will get left behind.

Thanks for letting me know that you submitted though (even if it did get lost) and publishing it here anyway. Nice entry by the way. I apologize for any mix up that might have happened.

MMMM wonder what happened to my entry, left on the cutting room floor once again. Bugger I thought it was kinda good.

"Imagine a world without art. No movies, no theatre, no TV, no books, no magazines, no internet, no music, no buildings, no conversation, would you want to live in such a place?

You come home from a really shitty day, put your favourite piece of music on, be it Mozart or the Beatles and feel your mood lift, your eye brighten, you can face the morrow.

I look at the treasured piece above the mantle and it tells me the sun will rise tomorrow and me along with it.

What’s art mean to me? It sustains me, entertains me, amuses me, converses with me, shelters me, informs me, without it I am lost."

Sent to william@b5media.com on August 28 but never made it into the competition.

What's the story Bill?

I would like to thank all my friends who commented on my entry! Working in the Internet industry has made a lot of former geeks very popular and I am no exception.

Thanks for the money, William. It will probably go toward contests on my blog!
