Absolute Arts in my backyard.
The world of the blogosphere is a little strange. It makes the world seem so much smaller. That new blog you are visiting… well, it may be your neighbor, or your own kid doing a project for school. It’s strange sometimes what you find. I had heard of AbsoluteArts.com a few times, checked into them awhile back and really hadn’t given much more thought than that to them… till today when one of the people from church gave me a little newspaper article and they are based in Granville, OH. I grew up in Granville right across from the old Sally Jones (now the Longaberger) mansion where they used to play polo (still do, I think).
Anyway, I was surprised since www.absolutearts.com represents 24,000+ artists and galleries according to their website.
I called them today and hope to hear back soon about getting together with them and maybe setting up an interview. We’ll see if I hear back. ;)
