Artist Hideout

Many Artists usually battle any kind of organizing types of responsibilities.  I know I am like this.  Piles of papers can at times line the edges of my desk and a more than elaborate network of chores and todos can be posted in non-linear fashion within my mind at any one time.  However, I have found that there is usually a simpler way of living in putting together lists of things that intrigue or pique my interest.

Backwoods Fest 2007
Jay Risner, pictured here with two of his sculpted vultures, took some time to talk with me today about
his sculptures at the Backwoods Fest in Thornville, OH. 
Now craft shows/art markets are more than just a place to go to showcase your work, they also can serve as inspiration and help you innovate your own methods by checking out what other people are using that work for certain effects.
