Magical Dust cures Artist Block
Past projects, photographs and archives (and all dusty stuff) can really come in handy for developing new ideas and dealing with that Artist Block. Artist Block is like Writers block, but for artists…
I get it quite often. Though writers block is fairly easy for me to conquer, there is something about a new sheet of blank paper or canvas that can paralyze me. I’d almost rather splash a little paint on all my work right before I start so that I’m working with something that can’t be “messed up”.

Giza Pyramids via 3d
I recently was digging around the web for artists and articles that caught my eye, and I thought this one was pretty cool. Tomorrow, I think I will try this technique with something around here. I love taking pictures and more recently, I’ve began getting into film-making (partly because we use movies every week at our church to illustrate different points). This a very …read more
Technical Detail vs Artistic License

Keena on Halloween
There are times in blogging where you must post something regardless if it has to do with your topic or not. My wife has an artistic side. She’s also a photographer here locally.

My thought is that cats are more fun to torture in this way. …read more
Stupid Computer Tricks
I was playing around earlier today. I know this trick has been around awhile and maybe I just missed it somewhere along the line. I thought I would share my translucent monitor with you.
Granted, I know my colors are off just a little here, but in person this is actually about right. It’s funny how a camera can pick up on slight changes of color. The scissors and the change jar along with the cords all added just enough to make this believable.
