EmptyEasel.com: Submission to the Uncontest.
Dan over at www.EmptyEasel.com submitted this design. I really like this one. It’s clean and really easy to read. He even kept some of the elements from my earlier submission. I like the little byline there too, which I hadn’t thought of. It definitely brings to the blog a branding element that I haven’t really explored to the fullest. I also really liked his recent post on Are some art techniques cheating?
Besides, my earlier submission was “too gay” according to my wife. She said it was the periwinkle text. So as she is the one I have to live with she will be the final analyst for me.
