Enjoying Nature: On the fly macro.

by William Lehman on June 9th, 2007

Today, I just went out for a walk to enjoy nature and I happened to see this and snapped a quick picture. I thought it turned out cool. I had the panoramic feature turned on on our new digital camera. Macro images always have fascinated me. I just thought I’d share this one.

That first shot is stunning…I’ve got a macro lens but not managed to capture anything quite so simultaneously beautiful and horrific. More of those please!

Thanks David. I actually only have a little point and shoot though with a macro mode. It’s the new Olympus770 SW. I went with a Shockproof and Waterproof camera because of multiple kayaking trips can be hard on a camera. It’s performed admirably well this last week. I am going to have to do a more in depth review of it here soon. I like the 16:9 mode for panoramic type photos as you can see.
