If you’ve ever crashed your computer, called tech support and they lost your laptop in the mail somewhere in Texas… clap your hands. *clap, clap*
Here is one of those overdue projects that I have intended to start for awhile and never got around to. I do some work on people’s computers sometimes. I get a lot of old extra pieces that really aren’t good for much. I’ve kept them for this purpose. That one day I could make an assemblage project based off all the countless hours I’ve either worked on someone else’s computer or spent on hold waiting on tech support to transfer me to someone else who only tells me to call another number where… (you get the idea).
So here is the jumble of most of the pieces I’ve gathered over the years. You can see some ram, a motherboard and a bunch of old modems. I may have to throw in my wife’s old cell phone that she dropped too.

I like computers when they work. Unfortunately, not as many people have computers that work or work as well as they could. So here’s to you. I now begin the assemblage project of (no name yet, suggestions velcome and yes that is a Translyvania reference there).

[…] I just had one of those. It’s related to the computer project that I started a little while back. Inspiration can hit you at anytime, anywhere. Since it just hit me, I thought I’d share my enthusiasm and not give away what the ideas were…. not yet. […]

I think one of these days I’m gonna put my entire post in the title and then add a read more tag with only images for the body. If anything, it might be fun.
