It’s Not Easy Being Green

Well, it’s that time of the year, where you paint yourself green, eat your Lucky Charms and look for four leaf clovers.

Well maybe not, but I still enjoy this picture of a guy from my church portraying Shrek.

But the Arts and Design channel here at b5media is going green for the day.

Layers Upon Layers

Cyndi at Layers Upon Layers invites everyone to join her by submitting your remade thrift store finds to Belle Armoire Magazine’s special issue, Altered Couture.

Jewelry and Beading

Jewelry and Beading has an easy wire and bead lucky charm project for your cell phone. Since most of us carry our cell phones around all the time, you’ll have your lucky charm where ever you go.

Stamping Mad

Stamping Mad has created a frog ATC that demonstrates how one image can be stamped in different ways for very different looks.

Mad Cropper

Christine posted this awhile back, but if you are just now getting into the spring cleaning mood, it might be a good time to get some green from that refund check at the end of the rainbow and make your craft room into a reality.

Hankering for Yarn

Noreen at Hankering For Yarn says it’s easy to be green, when you have some great yarn and a little imagination!

Quilting and Patchwork

“Green…the color for St. Patrick’s Day (March 17), shamrocks, and spring…inspires quilters and fabric artists in many ways. You might use predominately this color and these designs in your fabric art. Or you might seek out the patterns connected with Ireland and the Irish, such as the Irish Chain….”

Fame or Famine

Remember Daryl Hannah trying to save a tree last June? She may be just a little too green.

Tangled Thread

“I’m going to quilt this piece of fabric onto a fabric backing, using quilting stitches to echo the look of the leaves….”
