Our First Artist Submission - Brian Duey
I have to admit that this caught me by surprise. I didn’t expect a submission so soon, but this really phenomenal stuff. Brian Duey from dueysdrawings sent me this. According to his blog Duey says:
“I have been working on this drawing for about the last 2 months. I have tons and tons of hours into it, probably 60 overall. It’s a drawing of a shattered Jack Daniels bottle. The drawing is 14″x20″. Hope you like it.”
Brian, I definitely do like it. That is an amazing piece. I also like where your name is on the label. Thanks for the submission. Brian also does commissioned portraits which you can find out about on his site. We’ll have to do an interview sometime if you are up to it? I’d love to hear more about your techniques and tricks you talk about in your bio.
