I’ve been getting into Picasso’s work a lot more lately, and decided that I need to make it my own and work with the cubic form just a little more.
So, starting off this painting is a whole lot of masking tape.
I have cuts on the inside of my hand where I was pulling the tape off the roll and it would spin.
Part of this is that I wanted to mimic glass breaking out toward the viewer.

Sometimes there are things you run across that just make you want to go “huh?” then click the button again to see what else pops up.
Here’s one I found particularly interesting. Click the guy to generate a random slogan.

I have always found children’s artwork to be interesting in both their young imaginations and the details that they choose to incorporate into the work.
I ran across this page today and I thought I’d share. It takes a Child’s drawing and an artist comes along after the child and “finishes” the work.
Here’s an example.

I may have to take a blank canvas to church on Sunday and ask some kids to draw on it and see what I can come up with using their work as inspiration.

I am working on refining my ebay listing format for selling artwork via ebay.
So here’s what I’ve done to improve from the plain text background that I had on the first listing.

Changed the background color

Added easy to read tables

Gave it a header image

I also added an invisible counter to see what kind of traffic it gets in comparison.
