Seven Random Facts about me.

I’ve been tagged by Noreen over at Hankering for Yarn.

“Each person tagged gives seven random facts about themselves. Those tagged need to write in their blogs seven facts, as well as the rules of the game. You need to tag seven others and list their names on your blog. You have to leave those you plan on tagging a note in their comments so they know that they have been tagged and need to read your blog.”

So here are my random seven facts.

1. I once lived in a commune in Chicago called Jesus People USA (JPUSA otherwise pronounced Japoosa) when I was about 3 years old. I was at the first Cornerstone Music Festival in 1984.
2. I am also a full-time associate pastor at a church here locally called Discovery Church. My B.A. is in Biblical Theology with an Emphasis in Youth ministry from Circleville Bible College (now called Ohio Christian University)
3. Over the last few years, I have started to write several fiction books yet always seem to get frustrated with my writing or storyline or the character’s name, then begin all over again from scratch.
4. Lately, I have decided to take up woodworking, but it’s contingent on finding a larger workspace to do this in. I want to build mainly cedar chests and wardrobes and sell them locally.
5. Right now we are trying to find homes for 5 little kittens that we found at my parents house. Every shelter in central Ohio says they are full to overflowing with kittens. if you want one, email me.
6. I am an avid reader of fiction. Favorite authors include Stephen Lawhead, CS Lewis, JK Rowling, Bill Meyers, JRR Tolkien, Michael Crichton. Right now I am reading through the Chronicles of Narnia for the second time this year. Next up will probably be The Song of Albion again. I also habitually read my favorite books throughout each year.
7. In Bible College, I almost got expelled after I learned a bit about php and faked an email from the college president to a prof as a prank. I got mentioned in chapel that day….lol. After my very genuine and lengthy apology note to the College President I was given a second chance, thankfully.

So, now I am going to tag a few other people now that I’ve spilled the beans here.

A Person who’s website I lurk at occasionally via RSS feed.

Another person who I must apologize to, (Matt Glover of Chewing Pencils) who I still need to finish that Interview I started with him awhile back and is looking for recommendations for a new laptop. My advice is avoid Dell and personally, I’d try out a tablet pc if I were you.

Brian over at Design Sojourn has been a great friend as well and I’d like to see what kind of Guerilla’s of random facts he could spill. Because every design is fashioned from experiences, it might make a good read.

And finally, Gayle Mason at “Fur in the Paint” I love her artwork and have lurked around her site for awhile now.
