Starting a Artist Group
I’ve been searching around online for some really good Artists Groups, and much to my dismay, I haven’t found any decent ones. Now maybe it’s because I am looking in all the wrong places. I am not sure. But I have decided to create a Google group for artists to share ideas, techniques, tricks, and just do some basic networking. Groups offer a few features that blogs don’t. They aren’t hosted on any one persons site, and belong to the community more than they belong to any one person.
Plus, it’s just easier to have a conversation on a group than in a blog. So, I have decided to start the Artist Hideout group. It’s not meant to replace the blog, but rather to serve as a open ended resource for Artists of every genre.
So stop on by and we’ll try to get some lively discussions going on.
