Talk 02 - Art is a “Real” Job
While I may not have the space to do much large artwork, there is a definite difference in the mood of my surroundings when I sit down to paint or draw. I’ll put the cats in the bedroom or bathroom, either put in earplugs or turn on music and tell Becca to let me be for awhile.
In many ways, when I sit down for art, I wear blinders. It’s clear that I am working. Though it’s work I enjoy. I scarce can even call it work.
